Non of this apples. The power you get via the stand. One cable to the DAC, you always need this in one form or other. No SD Cards, but wifi playback. SD Cards are for taking music along when travelling.

Do you remember Vinyl and CD?

My main media server has an MCE remote for that, easier to use than a tablet remote, much cheaper.

On the other hand the Tablet is no worse to use than the Laptop that fronts my Office system.

The point is there is another good platform coming up. One that High-Rez and USB Audio out of the Box.
