A. Collins explained in his usual basic, lucid manner, how to back up a Mac to an external HD, several years and several OS's ago. Amazing how he can dumb down to my level.
Question: is there any finessing these instructions with Yosemite? Specifically, with the Mac recovery system, is it necessary to put a copy of the OS on the HD used for music library?
Do I still use GUID to partition into one partition on my music library (and also my backup HD)?
Just starting to rip this week and trying to cross all the t's and dot i's, etc. Trying to figure out Carbon Copy and XLD.
