I got into the PC Audio thing about 4 years ago with a Squeezebox Touch. It really works great. A lot of folks here use PCs with various software and I was wondering how they hook the PC into a DAC. I assume they use the USB port of the PC to the DAC, but I am wondering how they aesthetically blend the PC into the listening room.Do you put a Laptop or a Tower onto your Audio Rack and then have a long cable to your listening position to control things. Or do you have a laptop on your lap with a long cable to the DAC???
What I do with my SBT is pictured above... The small SBT next to the DAC that can be controlled wirelessly by my Tablet at my listening position.
