My late wife was an AM DXer. She hated my computers and often asked me to shut them down because of the interference they generated. On occasion I was sent around the neighborhood with her portable AM radio tracking down neighbors who had left their light dimmers on and partially dimmed, which created even worse interference than my computers.
I won't say what I did to stop this interference when it was caused by neighbors who were out of town for a week..... :-)
