Upgrade to Mavericks or Yosemite?

I use a Mac Mini for a music source and it is at 10.6.8 and iTunes is vs. 10 something-or-other along w/ the former Audirvana Plus. Should I upgrade the Mac Mini to Mavericks or Yosemite and then iTunes and then get the latest Audirvana? I don't want Audirvana's Library just the new player. Let the opinions rip!
