See a thread below about PS for the computer, specifically for CPU (P4 connector).
Of course, upgraded PS for a USB-SPDIF converter makes significant difference, too - in my case, it's Teradak 9V supply, feeding W4S uLink. Much better than stock switching wallwart, let alone USB power.
