I currently have a HRT Streamer connected to my Synology DS212 for a small area away from my lounge room. HRT is recognised by Synology NAS and music can be played directly to it using either the Synology Web interface on a PC or, in my case, the DS Audio android App. I then have the HRT Streamer connected to a headphone amp. Handy if I don't want to sit in the lounge room when the TV is on
Music can be directed to the HRT Streamer or directly to the phone (In my case, a Nexus 4).
