I know of other factors that might make cables sound different, including:1) Common-mode noise - due to ground-loop
2) RFI
3) jitter
4) Cable +5V qualityThe problem is all of these are effectively eliminated when using a galvanically isolated async interface with an external USB cable power supply. These different cables still sound different in this environment.
