I believe that info about Audacity not doing 24-bit is very old and still lingers in internet search results.
I know that it does 24-bit on Mac. However, that does not mean that it won't do it on Windows as well. I wouldn't know though, as I haven't tried it under Windows.
Fun stuff! I enjoyed using the HRT Linestreamer+ to digitize a handful of albums. And then we moved to a new place. My vinyl is packed away down in the basement along with my KAB SL1200mkII TT, HRT, Phono pre, etc. I'll set it up again someday.
