Not at all. I actually want to pour gas on the Roku and burn it. ;-)I don't want to use Spotify, the sound quality is terrible. Or at least via the Roku it is; it is like pushing an ice pick into my ears. The ROKU company are also not playing nice as they told me they will not be providing a Beats app.
What I want is the following.
1.) A non proprietary device where I have the option of multiple audio streaming services; Pandora, Beats, Spotify, XM, streaming radio station etc. (streaming stuff only)
2.) It's going to go in my living room, so a smallish device that doesn't take up a lot of room will be good.
3.)It also needs to be within reach to for me to start, stop, skip tracks etc. etc. so a desktop isn't going to work all that well.
4.)Needs to be wireless networked.
I'm thinking a Windows based laptop with features like usb port and wireless is probably going to be the best bet. If I can get a tablet that can do it, it would even be better.So anybody that know laptops and tabs, let me know it the tab idea is stupid or a viable laptop alternative.
