Whatever marketing spin Auraliti chooses to put on their box to appeal to certain audiophile buyers, it is most definitely a computer based on a variant of the Mini ITX standard for motherboards and it is running a computer Operating System and other software.
And yes, it is definitely more of a computer than a CD player, DVD player, or similar consumer appliance. ;-)
