I agree with EmailTim. Intel and Samsung would be my top choices.

- Samsung 840 Pro is especially nice and 'higher-end' vs. the basic 840 series or the new EVO line.

- Intel 520 series has been very reliable but a bit old now. Not sure what the latest Intel equivalent would be.

Various brands may leap frog each other here and there on absolute speed but for reliability I like Intel and Samsung.
