RE: Can't get output sample rate higher than 48k

Thank you for posting the problem/solution. So many times the OP goes away once the issue is resolved and we never get to get educated.

Oops, we should have asked about your whole signal path..the isolator would have been an obvious flag. My bad.

I wonder if a shielded cable would do the trick; or maybe its the 5V...maybe just cut the 5V power on the USB (not permanently...try the tape trick). Although I gotta think maybe the Marantz needs to see the power for a handshake (if not for powering the USB receiver chip). Best solution, of course, would be to get the source (pc) closer to the DAC (Marantz).
