It will still vibrate because it is subjected to sound waves. That's how your ears work, they vibrate because the air is moving. What you seek to do is impossible. You can't completely isolate a component from the room unless you remove it from the room, and then you have to deal with the effects of long cables.
How do you rig up something that eliminates the USB cable from the equation? If you have done this I second the Nobel nomination.
