Having taken cMP2 and cPlay in partcular as far as he felt he could, he moved on a couple of years since. At least he's now probably spared silly remarks about Macs.
A disparate group co-operated over several months on the cPlay thread to take things further by systematically "slimming" the OS, editing "Resources" in key files and so on. I played little or no part in the effort though I have been able for the most part to replicate it. The results are very impressive though, emphatically, time consuming to achieve, in part because the pertinent reports are scattered.
