For us warm is fine...but for the average consumer. Cool is best, they don't want to feel the slightest bit of heat.
Of course you make your product to satisfy the largest audience.
Normal consumer sales strategy:
1)Give them what they want.
2)Give them what they need.
3)And at least 10% should be what is called "Suprise and Delight" this is something over and above what they expected or wanted.
The "Surprise and Delight" is the real challenge. This is something that companies have to continually come up with, a new look, a new feature, etc. At the same time they have to keep costs down to maintain profits.
