I did not read the web address you specified (I can't load it...I am stuck with dial-up S L O W).
OK: to remind you, the CD-RW is hooked up to IDE to MoBo and the 2-pin "digital out" Molex to the Audigy. NB: the 4-pin analog is NOT connected. OK, now:
Creative Mediasource Player -> Tools -> Settings -> Playback, de-select "system default." Then, using the Surround Mixer, the input appears to be via the "CD Audio" (which I understand is the Analog input!!!), as opposed to Wave. If you enable the "Digital Playback" option in Player, the output is coming through the Wave device. In neither case does input appear via "CD Digital."
