I think it's tricky to trouble-shoot this type of problem "at home" without risking new damage to some part of the HV supply or to the filament supply. If your MP1 is like mine, then the output (circlotron) stage is separately fused and its fuse is inside the PS chassis, so this must have to do with either the HV or the filament supply. You might also check the integrity of the output stage fuse, but in the end, I think you will want to send it back to Ralph. It's remotely possible that Ralph can walk you through to a solution via a phone conversation, so try that first. No matter what's wrong, Ralph has an instant intuitive understanding of his gear and has "been there, fixed that".
