OTL, Output Transformerless Amplifier User Group.

I'm looking into buying a MP-3.1 used with the Vcap upgrade and psu regulator upgrade. I would also be using the phono section of the unit. So, how does the internal phono stage compare to others you've heard? My big concern is noise. I'd be using a Lyra Delos with the unit. I love an immediate and dynamic sound. Previously, a horn owner, now I'm using a First Watt J2 with some Gallo Strada 2s in a near field set-up since my office is now my listening room. I'm also on the verge of digitizing my vinyl and I'd like to do it right the first time.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
