The Quad 63 and Futterman OTL amps are a a classic combination. NYAL made
special versions of their amps for them. I myself have never heard them together, but
I use the NYAL OTL3 with my Stax F83's, which is a marvelous pairing, except in the bass,
where for some reason the Stax's impedance drops to 4 Ohms. (see image).
Most ESL's have a rising impedance in the bass, which would be easier.
The Stax's are notoriously inefficient, but with a high
impedance throughout most of the spectrum, they present
an easy load for the OTL's. Good luck....
