The name is "Broskie", not "Browski".
I always thought the advantage of the CCS in the cathode of the dual-differential amp was to offer a very high impedance so current will be shared only by the two halves of the amplifier, i.e., no current (in theory) will go to the negative rail via the cathode. So when current goes up on the + side, it will go down by an exact complementary amount on the minus side. (Of course in reality it is never zero.)
