Modified Futterman - a very good performer

A German inmate has privately asked to me: what would you recommend to a DIYer interested in building a 20W (or more) OTL amplifier with about 26 dB voltage gain?

And this is my provisional answer that I like to share with all the inmates because the nature of the simulated distortion of this topology resembles the classical circlotron of my previous post.

Simulated spectra will follow for sake of completeness.
