My MP1 is a MkIII and it uses a 6sn7 for both line and phono as a regulator, 10 total 6sn7's in my unit plus 6 12at7. I am currently using a Sylvania 6sn7WGT brown base as the line gain tube and GTB's for all the rest. Had TS round plates but they were microphonic and a tad noisy, they now are first gain tube in MA1, magical there.
