SE OTL or T16 for Lowther Medllion BL horns?

I've just sold my Chinese (Bez) 2A3 SET amp, and I'm interested in the Transcendent Sound SE OTL and the T16.

I was after a little more punch and dynamcics from my speakers. (I'm using the Fostex 206E drivers.)

Will the 1.5 watt SE OTL be enough, or should I not risk it and go for the T16?

Also, with a single source input (CD) can I simply run the Transcendent Sound attenuator as a passive pre?

Any Sydney Transcendent Sound lovers out there?
