Yeah, it took a lot of hours to do! There is a lot of hard wiring to do with 16 output tubes per monoblock and you have to go very methodically to make sure you didn't miss something. The instructions are very good though.
Testing was a bit funny as first three of the input tubes tested bad and made the amp go into oscillations. Better input tubes fixed that but further testing on my Acoustats showed that the Beast seems not to be happy on this very demanding load (2ohms in the bass and a lot of capacitance from the estat panels) and would go into low frequency oscillations at more than moderate volume levels.
Tested them then on a pair of Wilson X1s and they work like a charm and sound pretty darn good.
