Yes, if you talking about a CCS for the output stage. That's probably not even feasible. (You and Ralph would know better than I about that. I appreciate that a circlotron is close cousin to a CF but that's as far as I can take it, given that you can drive the load via either the plates or the cathodes in a circlotron. Would need to look again at the schematic to refresh my understanding.) I was talking about a CCS for the CF that drives the circlotron. I have implemented same in my amps with good results. I just used a tube section, rather than a ss device; could be stiffer in terms of impedance but does make an audible improvement. Don't have real estate in my amps to fit an SLCF a la AW.
