The front two. IMHO, in top to bottom order of sonic improvement V1, V2, V4, V3. V4 is the driver in mine, V3 the CCS, V1 input, V2 cascode. I changed all of mine until I was I happy. Came with two RCA RB 5692 in V1 and V2 and sovtek all else. Ended up with KenRad black glass VT-231 as V1, 50's Raytheon brown base WGT as V2, anything will work fine as CCS as long as plates match well(EH) and TungSol tall GTB as driver.
