Sorry about delay in answering.
I am building a second mono OTL - Circlotron type. It was designed by Alan Kimmel and published in VTV Magazine a while back. I used 8 Svetlana EL509s in the first amp.. When I purchased 8 tubes for the second amp., I was sent some EL509 and some EL519. Hence the question. Maybe I'll get another 4 EL509 of the same brand to avoid any problems of matching two quads of EL509.
