OTl clipping vs Transformer clipping

OTL, Output Transformerless Amplifier User Group.

What is the difference in sound between the two because of clipping? I know that since most of us that are familiar with tubes are using transformer-output amps, we are not familiar with the clipping of a OTL amp. There has been an ongoing discussion about "Tube watts vs Transistor watts", would this be the same with a OTL amp vs a transistor amp? How about a transistor amp, (Such as a Mac with output-matching transformer) in comparison to a standard tube amp with a transformer?
