Well, after more time than I had anticipated, I finished my
M-60's. Modded in most of the predictable ways, can run 6336A
output tubes, Hexfreds, Stealth driver rectifiers, lots of filter caps, blah blah blah.The main trick is the constrained layer chassis which hangs the
original chassis (almost the only original remaining piece from the kits) clamped
and suspended with EAR dampening material. Deader than
Napoleon. Tube tray copper sandwiched ceramic sockets.Here's a link to some stuff I've done in the last few years.
