Signal fidelity measured to -160dB

Bruel and Kjaer, the sound and vibration test gurus... have introduced a new series of analog/digital front end for their analysis equipment that claim to be able to measure 160 dB dynamic range... thet works ot to a range from 7.07 volts down to .07 microvolts! This is about 50 times better than the best the industry had to offer until now. Almost two orders of magnitude!

Linearity of their a to d are withing 0.02dB down to -140dB still within 1dB in that last decade -140 to -160!

Frequency range is out to 25KHz - they are also boasting very high phase and level matching between channels so that you check the signal fidelity - output against input - with a very high precision. Cable and amplifier people are going to research all that audible stuff in the muck now!
