Eminent Tech. LFT-VIII Woofer/Crossover Upgrade

I have an early iteration of the above speaker and have listened happily for the last ten years. Curious as to whether other inmates have upgreaded this speaker with the factory upgrade kit and if so, were the sonic benefits worthwhile.
