Hi Dylan:thank-you for the kind words... and I agree that the small signal Peerless tranneys are just flat out top shelf components.
That said--- it is not likely that we will be building these specialty tranformers anytime in the near future. In part it is because we are a very small company--- more akin to a workshop instead of a factory--- so our capacity is very limited. In addition the costs of bring on some of these speciality units would run as much as ten thousand dollars to build the first one--- if you went off of the print and used all the proper materials and etc. Remember that we cannot buy a pound or two of a specialty lamination nor can we get mu-metal cans least we buy them by the hundreds of pieces at a time.
I love all of the Peerless stuff with all my heart and soul--- and it makes me sad that we will never be able to build some of these masterpieces anew--- but I guess I should be grateful that we have been able to build a selected sampling of the Peerless outputs over the years.
It was an incredible collection to have purchased twenty years ago--- and I cannot even begin to catalog all of the knowledge I've gained by having the complete blueprints and etc. And many of our MQ designs have themselves benefited from the design concepts, materials insights, and building practices that came from having the Peerless collection to study and learn from.
neat stuff---
cheers,MSL
