Determining output power

I built Gordon Rankin's Bugle, then converted it to parafeed using BCP-15 and EXO-045. Typical 45 operating points - 35mA current, 275V on the plates.

I've heard that the Sovtek 2A3 sounds good at the 45 operating point, but I'm concerned that it put out more than the 2W that the EXO-045 is spec'd for. How would one calculate the 2A3's output power, given the 5K primary, 8 ohm secondary and the aforementioned operating point of the 45? I imagine I'd need the specs/curves for the Sovtek 2A3; I don't have them handy but I'm sure I can find them.

I did see the calculation described in the DIY forum, but I couldn't make sense of it. I majored in physics so I can handle the math, but the prose was a bit obtuse...
