396A SRPP to BG 22uf VK to RIT-5 jr cobalt to 2A3 to ES-025 M3. Standard operating points. Power supply is my first try at choke input low H, low DCR. Still some slight buzz from both channels - can't figure out what's causing it (may be the PS?). I also tried using a plate choke in the top resistor position of the SRPP but got too much hum.
Sounds fantastic. I have had great sounds using cobalt EXO-173 and RIT5-jr. I just love Mikey's air gapped output transformers (ES-025 and RS-500 in M3 and M4 respectively).
Having tried various brands of transformers, unless my circuits for the amps using other brands just happen to be vastly inferior to the circuits using MQ transformers, I have gotten some of the best sounds from Mikey's products.
