The risks of running 55 mA through an RH-40 or other 40 mA rated OPT is shortened lifetime, and decreased frequency response and linearity.The RH-60 or RH-80 would be a better (and safer) fit to these requirements.
If a 3K primary is acceptable, an alternative, just a few more $$ than the RH series, is the TFA-204. It is good for 60 mA and a max of 8W output.

The MagneQuest/Peerless TFA-204 is a conventional airgapped single ended output transformer with a 3K ohm primary and 4,8 and 16 ohm secondaries, rated for 60mA maximum primary DC and 8 watts power handling.HTH
