my question is perhaps a bit of worry-wart in nature, so let me try it this way: is there any inherent downside in going to a four ohm speaker system, using the 4 ohm taps, compared to an eight ohm speaker system using the eight ohm taps? I can't see why the amps would know the difference, but If one exists, I'm sure you know about it. At this stage of the design, I can redirect my efforts to an eight ohm system if it has some inherent advantage. Thanks,Roger Hill
