Quite frankly, these audio transformers are outstanding folks. I use these transformers in what I consider is a 'no expense spared' PP 45 amp. After auditioning many preamp tubes I have on hand, I settled for a Tung-Sol 6P5GT driving a Sylvania 6SN7GTA. For some reason, this 'Y' plate 6SN7 had an slight performance edge on the more desired 1945 Sylvania 'T' plate or the 1952 Sylvania 6SN7GT.Anyways, I recommend the MQ PP pinstripe design. I am sure Mike can custom design for your application. The PP 45 based amplifiers provide open & airy sonics without any edge or grain. Simply, a wonderful sounding set of monblock amplifiers.
