Our 565's are built from the original factory blueprints in terms of core size, turns, wire size, etc...in practice our builds MAY have fractionally (perhaps by a sixteenth or so of an inch) thicker core stacks since we do not use wedges in our hand stacked core assemblies...
I can vaguely remember one customer some years ago having difficulty mounting 565's in I believe it was a SCA-35. IIRC it boiled down to the end bells having fractionally deeper draws (depth). But I do not recall all the details or how it was resolved.
