Happy to help... and even happier that you got them "squared away" and have good continuity from end to end.
the EXO-145 was a special run of our EXO-45. the 145 had a litz wire secondary. Since litz is comprised of many, many individually insulated strands of wire it can be a bear to solder and get thorough penetration (and, hence, conductivity) throughout the bundle of wires.
A solder pot is the best way to tin and solder litz wire.
