Thanks for the url. I had seen this calculator last eveing when I did a google search but was not sure it was the correct one to use.
I am using the first calculator on the page you reference--- and the one to the left in that box.
Here are some example results... tell me if I'm doing this right.
I'm using as instructed the minus signs....
-20db = 10%
-26db = 5%
-30db = 3.16%
-40db = 1%
-46db = .5%
If I'm doing this right I wanted to go into the WE published table of recommended operating conditions and convert from db to percentages.
I think most people can moreso relate to or "get ahold" of percentages as opposed to using DB language.
