I don't know if you have considered it but the Dowdy plate choke has flying leads and would be great on a 45 tube. I believe that is what it was designed for. I am not sure about the fit on top of the chassis. You would also want to audition some larger value parafeed caps to match with the higher inductance. A little more expensive but pretty much the ultimate for a 45 amp.
