The primary on the 5504 is 115vrms @ 60 hzThe primary on the 5500 is 115vrms @ 60 hz or 230vrms @ 50hz.
Secondary voltages and currents are as follows and the same
for either the 5500 or the 5504.720 VCT @ 100ma rms (please note this is an rms value for the current)
5 volts @ 2 Arms
6.3 VCT @ .5 Arms
2.5 V @ 1.25 Arms
2.5 V @ 1.25 Arms
and has a lead out for the electrostatic sheild
The two 2.5 volt windings can be put into parallel or series
for the following;5 VCT @ 1.25 Arms if connected in series
2.5 volts @ 2.5 Arms if connected in parallel
This unit is run very conservatively with the flux density
well below 10kg (5504)and below 12kg (5500). It was designed
for a very low temperature rise and never gets HOT if run within specs.Anyone is free to share this data with any manufacturer of their own choosing and to have products made to this published electrical spec. But please assign it a new part number and do not call it a 5500 or 5504 or use our prefix (MQR). And of course we do not warranty or guarntee the construction, suitability, or performance of any product not produced by MagneQuest.
