well, that picture was taken at The Mill... the speaker system is Jonathan's... but I do also listen to an all horn system... the amp in the picture was one I have been playing with in mono breadboard form and I decided to build it stereo for the Mill gathering...I guess I am lucky that although my system has evolved over the years, I have been able to "become one" with the music every step of the way... so, sorry not to be specific, but you really can get there from a lot of directions..
my favorite amp of late was a stacked supply 112A -> 75tl... but that was in the back room... the big horn room is up front and is tri-amped...

I just got off the phone with Dowdy... I think we formed a plan that he can cobble together a resistor loaded parafeed 2A3 pretty quickly... I suppose with supplies and variacs at my disposal, I should be able to as well... the way I see it, we only are wasteful in dissipating some heat in resistors...
why do we keep finding inefficient circuits to sound better?? filament bias, seperate driver and output supplies, etc...
