Just use an appropriate sniffer coil and a scope. Probably about 3" dia, 100t would do the trick, maybe much less since you can work in the very near field. Or just open it up and look at the drive voltage. If they are really generating harmonics then you may even be able to hear the drive voltage by just using a short clip lead on the hot side of a line input cable and wafting it around over the top while listening.

I suppose if I bought one and was concerned I'd take some reference measurements when new. On the other hand if it breaks and you can't tell any difference, then it doesn't really matter.
