Remember when magnets were the anathema of wrist watches? Guess I'm dating myself, but at least I'm a cheap date. So cheap that I went out and looked at my meager magnet collection stuck to the air handler in the garage. I took the best physical candidate and propped it up against the LCD face of my desk clock. It's one of those that checks in with WWVL at night but should otherwise be about the same as any other LCD clock I'd think. Couldn't hear any difference so I reversed it and still couldn't. Magnet may be too weak, will pick up a stronger one next time I'm in the HW store. It's even in the window so that should add points...
