BAs are intriguing but of limited value for home audio. The problem is that you need at least 5 drivers for a BA AND you have to sit 8-10 times the length of the array from the drivers in order for them to act as a point source. This pretty much makes BA a PA option, not a home audio option. McIntosh has a HT speaker with a tweeter BA. That is about the only speaker I've seen with a BA.The problems/challenges is that you want an array of around 10" for a listening distance of around 8'-9'. There are very few tweeters that you can actually get close enough to get a 10"/5 driver array. Also, you need 5 drivers. Sure, you will have better power handling with a BA, but 5 cheap drivers can equal the price of one pretty good driver.
Then if you are considering the more interesting variant, 7 driver BA with a center null point for a tweeter, for example, you are definitely talking about PAs.
