Measuring with a Rat Shack meter and my signal generator the response was like 3 db down from 10k at 16k. The meter is alright, not the most accurate way of doing it. Respose above that seemed to drop like a brick. This is with the 1.5" throated 4002 that TAD rates to 20k. The horns are small 500 cycle round tractrix. To my ear the treble is as clean, extended and natural as any super tweeted speaker I've heard and I have no problem hearing (Yeck!)the transformer noise in a tv set. The whole range of the compression drivers (680hz-up?) in my system is very alive and real. They often make me take a double take at the sounds, actually tricking me into believing the instument/sound is real, not reproduced.
