I think a narrow speaker in a WHW (woofer, horn, woofer) array would really sound great. The box would have to be pretty darn big still, I'm using 12 cubic footers for my pairs of 1601a's, not worring about the bottom octave because I'm building subs. Driving the pair with a SET maybe a challenge (parallel). I'm driving mine with a little high current Eagle 2 SS power amp now with excellent (startling bass)results : )I haven't heard the TAD horns, or the TAD crossover. The Marchand XM-1 I'm using with upgraded opamps and capacitors IMHO is very nice sounding at a lot less money. For that kind of money you can get the Marchand tube crossover. The Marchand's are very flexible and allow for fine tweaking.
