Actually, I did experiment with the Tad tweets awhile back, it does offer a bit more air with the horns without the harshness you experienced with the JBL's. I was using at that time (Edgar 16"). With the big horns which measures upto 20K without tweets, you don't really need it. It's a very good tweet indeed but when you have 20K already, what's the point.
Kevin even has a better tweet to play around with the big horns, the Onken tweeter. The one mounted beside the small horn at the first page of the website. At the end, he prefered the 2-way set-up without the tweets. Mike, would you believe there's a 15" woofer that has an F of 28hz and sensitivity of 110DB!!!!! Imagine not padding your horns to match the woofers! 110db total sensitivity. Kevin just ordered a pair from Japan and I should here it. I let you know how it sounds once I audition it.
